APEX News Finisher
Newspaper Plate Finisher for Processors
DESCRIPTION: A new plate finisher designed for use in applications where the finisher is diluted with
water. APEX News Finisher is compatible with all types of metal plates and automatic
processors. It contains a special blend of desensitizers, film formers and wetting agents
that provide excellent protection from handling scratches and fingerprints. APEX News
Finisher ensures that the plate will start up quickly and without sensitivity, for reduced
paper waste. This product is specially formulated to handle the latest plate technology
and provide superior desensitization of the non-image area.

Appearance/Odor: Clear gold-brown liquid with mild odor
VOC Content (EPA Method 24): None
INSTRUCTIONS: Processors: Dilute APEX News Finisher with water to achieve the desired results.
Normal dilutions are anywhere from 50% to 70%. If scratches are an issue, use at full
strength or dilute less.
By Hand: APEX News Finisher can be applied by hand as a plate finisher by simply
applying a liberal amount of the finisher to the plate surface and wiping across the entire
surface with a dampened sponge.
