®
Premium Plate Storage Gum
Description: A unique premium gum asphaltum emulsion that protects and desensitizes non-
image areas while ensuring ink receptivity of image areas on lithographic plates.
PETRO GUM
® is an all-purpose gum for short or long term plate storage.
Directions for Use: Shake well before use. Remove all excess ink from plate by wet washing or
"sheeting". Pour a liberal amount of PETRO GUM
® on a damp sponge and apply
evenly to the plate to ensure ink receptivity of the image area. Smooth off, but do
not buff dry;
fan or air dry.
