HSC 60
Heavily Water Miscible 60% VOC Press Wash
Description: A highly dilutable low VOC press wash to be used on all types of sheetfed and web
press equipment. HSC 60 can be used on automatic blanket wash systems. HSC 60
contains a mixture of solvents that provide excellent ink cutting power and
components that help remove paper coating and fibers. HSC 60 is emulsifiable with
water at a wide range of dilutions to help in the removal of water soluble
contaminants.
Directions for Use: ROLLER WASH: Can be used strait or add 1 part HSC 60 to 1 part water and apply to
rollers while press is running. Allow press to run while solution works on rollers.
Engage wash up blades. When rollers are clean, press is ready to resume operation.
Repeat process for difficult clean-up situations.
BLANKET WASH:
Can be used strait or add 1 part HSC 60 to 2 parts water, mix and
apply solution to a cloth. Wipe across blanket until residual ink and glaze are
removed. For excessive paper coating and lint build-up, dampen cloth with water
before applying HSC 60.
