For your safety
■ Testing the alarm function
You can trigger a predefined test alarm to check whether the phone signals the alarms to the
alarm system and whether the system recognises the alarm signals and processes them.
This function is only available with an ATASpro licence. Contact your system administrator for
more information.
■ Range alarm
The phone can only send the alarm messages if it is within the radio area. So it is important to
activate the
Range alarm
so that you are notified acoustically by the phone if you are about to
leave the radio area (see chapter
"Activating range alarm and system busy beep"
, page
■ Battery alarm
For safety reasons make sure that the batteries are always loaded (see chapter
, page
).
When the alarm server mode is activated, an alarm is triggered as soon as the battery is below
20 %.
Note:
Always trigger a test alarm when you begin your shift to check that the alarm system is operational.
Repeat the test at regular intervals.
