a. The Set Serial command has different
values based on whether the HandPunch
unit is configured for serial or modem
communication versus Ethernet
communication.
The Set Language command allows the language shown on the HandPunch’s
display to be “localized” for a variety of countries:
- English - German
- Japanese - Russian
- French - Indonesian
- Italian - Portuguese
- Spanish - Polish
The Set Date Format Command allows the date format shown on the
HandPunch’s display to be “localized” for a variety of countries.
- mm/dd/yy - mm-dd-yy
- dd-MMM-yy - MMM dd,yy
- dd-mm-yy - ddMMMyyyy
- dd/mm/yy
The Set Time and Date command allows the HandPunch’s time and date to be
set. This is normally not necessary as the HandPunch’s time and date are set
by the host computer.
