2.6 Removing a Printed Media Core from the Winder
This section will explain the procedure to remove the media core from the Winder.
1. Set the Winder Automatic Operation Switch to OFF.
2. If the media core being removed is partially filled with printed media, cut the media from the
remaining media in the Printer Platen.
3. Set the Manual Operation Switch to “NORMAL DRIVE” and roll in the remaining printer media on
the core.

4. Remove the printer media core from the Winder and install a new empty media core on the Winder
Spindles.
