The back panel of the X5 looks like this:

DSL Connects the modem to the ADSL telephone wall jack.
USB Connects the modem to the Ethernet port of a Windows
computer.

1 Ports for connecting the modem to an access point, a
network hub, or the Ethernet port of a computer.
RESET Resets the modem to its factory settings. To reset,
insert a paper clip and press the button three times.
POWER Connects the unit to the power adapter.
