Answering system operation
Remote access
You can access many features of your answerng system remotely from any touch tone telephone.
A four-dgt securty code s requred to access the system and the factory default code s 4321; see
page 44 to change t. To access remote access:
• Dal your telephone number from any touch tone telephone.
• When the system answers and announces the greetng, enter the four-dgt securty code.
• After hearng a double beep, enter one of the remote commands n the followng table.
• Hang up or press * to end the call.
• If no key s
pressed wthn
10 seconds of
enterng remote
access, any
new messages
wll be played
automatcally.
• Once the new
messages have
been played,
the system
wll announce
the help menu

20 seconds,

3 Deletes the message currently playng and announces "Message deleted"
4 Repeats the message currently playng
