Answering system operation
Outgoing greeting
Record your greeting
• Press the softkey
MENU when n dle mode.
• Press the softkey twce to reach ANSWERING SYSTEM. Press the
softkey SELECT to confirm.
• Press the softkey once to reach GREETING OPTION, and press the
softkey SELECT to confirm.
• Press the softkey once to reach RECORD GREETING, and press the
softkey SELECT to confirm.
• The screen dsplays RECORDING GREETING FOR RECORD MESSAGE
MODE. After the tone, speak towards the mcrophone at the bottom front
of the base unt from about nne nches away.
• Press the softkey STOP when finished.
• The answerng system wll automatcally playback the newly recorded
greetng. Press the softkey STOP to stop the playback anytme.
Outgong greetng s the message callers hear when calls are answered by
the answerng system.
The telephone s preset wth a greetng that answers calls wth
“ Hello. I’m
unable to answer your call right now. Please leave you name, number and
the message after the tone. ” You can use ths factory greetng, or replace
t wth your own recordng.
Play your greeting
• Follow the nstructons n
Record your greeting to access the GREETING
OPTION menu.
• Press the softkey SELECT to select PLAY OPTION. Press the softkey
STOP to stop the playback anytme.
