Setting answering system
Set number of rings
Ths feature allows you to select how many tmes the telephone wll rng
before the answerng system answers. You can choose from two, four, sx
rngs or toll saver. Wth toll saver actve, the answerng system answers after
two rngs when there are new messages, and after four rngs when there are
no new messages.
• Press the softkey
MENU n dle mode.
• Press the softkey twce to reach ANSWERING SYSTEM. Press the
softkey SELECT to confirm.
• Press the softkey three tmes to reach RINGS TO ANSWER, and press
the softkey SELECT to confirm.
• Use the softkey or to scroll through the optons. Press the softkey SELECT
to confirm, and there will be a confirmation tone.
Set call screening
Ths feature allows you to lsten to the caller’s messages whle they are
beng recorded. If you wsh to take the call, press
/FLASH or on the
handset or /SPEAKERPHONE at the base unt when the message s
beng recorded.
• Press the softkey

softkey SELECT to confirm.
• Press the softkey three tmes to reach CALL SCREENING and press
the softkey SELECT to confirm.
