3.6 M38000TL2-PSW (RESET, GND and Vcc Cables with Overcurrent Protective Circuits)
The M38000TL2-PSW is an upgraded version of the RESET, GND and Vcc cables with protective
circuits added for prevention of possible damage to the M38000TL2-FPD in case the cables are
improperly connected.
(1) Functions of Each Part of the M38000TL2-PSW
Here following explains the function of each part of the M38000TL2-PSW.

(1) M38000TL2-PSW main unit
Prevents the M38000TL2-FPD from getting damaged when the reset, GND, and Vcc cables are
erroneously connected.
(2) Connector for the emulation pod
This is a 3-pole connector used to connect the M38000TL2-PSW and M38000TL2-FPD.
(3) Clips for connecting RESET, GND and Vcc
These clips connect to the RESET input, Vcc, and GND pins on the target system. They consist
of RESET (white), Vcc (yellow), and GND (black).
(4) LED
Turns off to alert you when Vcc and GND are shorted. For details, refer to "3.6 (4) LED Display"
(page 30).
