About NVM-2004
Use NVM-Series model NVM-2004 if you have a telephone system
other than i-Series, DS1000/2000, ONYX/DS01 or Portrait 308/824.
This section describes the differences between the NVM-2004 features
and the feature descriptions in this guide. All other features apply as
written.
Calling a Mailbox (From an Extension)
Your phone system may or may not allow you to press a Message key
to call (log onto) your mailbox. The method that always works follows.
1. Get intercom dial tone and dial the
NVM-Series master extension.

If you hear the company greeting, dial
# (or other logon code).
2. Dial your mailbox number, if requested.
3. Dial your security code, if one has been
programmed.
