Recording a Mailbox Greeting (cont'd)

(3) If Auto Attendant Do Not Disturb is on, NVM-Series will

not activate the following features: Call Parking/Paging, Call
Queuing, Call Waiting, or Call Announcing.

(4) If Auto Attendant Do Not Disturb is off, NVM-Series will

play your greeting to callers who decide to leave you a mes-
sage while using the Call Parking/Paging, Call Queuing,
Call Waiting, or Call Announcing feature.

(5) See also Caller ID in this guide (page 20).

1. Call your mailbox (see page 6).
2. Press

G

(4).

3. Follow the voice prompts.

To hear Recording Options while
recording, press zero.

Recording a Mailbox Name

You can record a name for a mailbox (Subscriber, Guest, Message
Center, Alias/Remote Network). The mailbox name plays in the voice
prompts that would otherwise play the mailbox number or its corre-
sponding extension number. For example, if mailbox 303 has the
name "Joe Smith," NVM-Series plays,

Joe Smith does not answer

instead of,

Extension 303 does not answer. You can record a name that is up
to 10 seconds long.

If the System Administrator records a mailbox name using the System
Administrator Menu, that name overrides the name you record, and
vice versa.

1. Call your mailbox (see page 6).
2. Press

RN

(76).

3. Follow the voice prompts.

To hear the Recording Options while
recording, press zero.
