8.7 Network
If the Northstar 8000i processor is a stand alone unit, i.e. not connected to any other network
device. Be sure to use the supplied Network Loop Back Plug. Connect this to the Network
Port
Insert loop back in to network socket if unit is operating as a standalone system
Use a Northstar 8000i Network Cable to connect to other 8000i network devices. If
connecting to only one other network device, use optional cable NS004815 Crossover cable
joiner in between two (2) conventional network cables
