4.7 Phone Settings

In the Phone Settings screen, the following parameters may be modified.
- Phone Settings
o Ringer Type – Ring tone for incoming calls, select one of seven.
o Frame Duration – RTP frame duration (milliseconds).
o Headset Auto Mode – Headset connection.
o Ringer – Ringer on or off.
o DTMF Relay – DTMF signaling method (in-band, out-of-band or negotiate).
o DTMF Payload – RFC 2833 payload type for DTMF signals.
o DTMF Duration – Duration of DTMF signals sent from the phone.
o The Number of Lines – The number of programmable buttons used for SIP call
appearances or ‘Lines (min. 2); the maximum number of Lines is the maximum
number of buttons available on the LIP Phone (LIP-6812=11, LIP-6830=24).
o Lock Outgoing Call – Locking an outgoing call, user must enter the LCD Menu
password to place calls.
o Use Speed Number – Speed Numbers use 2-digit dialing from idle to access
Phone Book numbers.
- Functions
o Private Hold – Softkey display for Private Hold function.
