Remote Control Used
1 Press SYSTEM MENU. Press ; to select in the top left
corner of the Menu Bar at the top of the TV screen.
2 Press 9CH- repeatedly to select in the second menu
screen, then press :.
3 Remote control used will be selected. Press :.
4 Press 8CH+ or 9CH- to select DVD Player or DVD
Recorder, then press OK.
The factory setting is DVD Recorder.This means you will operate the
Recorder with the remote control supplied with the Recorder (as
shown at right and throughout this book).
However, if you have a Philips DVD Player and want to use that remote
to also control the Recorder, select DVD Player.
You may not be able to access all the Recorder’s features unless you
use the Recorder’s remote control.
5 Press SYSTEM MENU to remove the menus.

Turn on Night Mode to improve the sound during low volume play.
