Making a call
1.
Make sure you are in an area where the signal can
be received. Look for the
symbol on the home
screen. The more bars you see in this symbol, the
clearer the reception will be.
2.
Enter the phone number.
3.
Press .
4.
Press
to end the call.
Tip:
To make calls using your phone’s voice
recognition feature, see "Calling using voice tags"
on page 40.
Redialing a number
To redial the last number called, press
twice.
Calling a saved number
If you have already saved a phone number, you can use
the contacts list to find it quickly.
1.
Press
down. This brings up a list of all saved
contacts.
Note:
A list of frequent contacts also appears at the
top of the list if you have enabled the frequent
contacts setting. For more information, see
page 31.
2.
Scroll down the list, find the contact you want, and
press
to dial the number.

see page 31.
Answering a call
When a call comes in, the phone rings, vibrates,
and/or lights up, and a dancing phone icon appears.
The number of the caller also appears if it is not
restricted. If the number is stored in your Contacts
directory, the contact name appears.
• To answer the call, press
.
• If you do not wish to answer the call, select
Silence
or
Ignore
and press
. Silence mutes the
ringer. Ignore mutes the ringer, and returns you to
the screen that was active at the time the call came
in. Both actions send the caller to voicemail if you
do not pick up the call.
Note:
In the absence of
voicemail, the
Ignore
feature drops the call.
