ADVANCED OPERATIONS

Your transceiver operations vary according to the functions

that your dealer has programmed onto the transceiver keys.

Following is brief overview of the programmable functions.

Refer to those functions which have been programmed onto

your transceiver.

• 2-tone (2TN)

Press this key to display the list of 2-tone codes that has

been pre-stored in your transceiver memory. While viewing

the 2-tone list, press the

Side 2 and Side 3 keys to select

your desired code, then press the

PTT switch to make the

call.

• Autodial (AD)

Refer to “a

utodial

” on page 33.

• AUX (AUX)

Press this key to toggle the auxiliary port ON and OFF.

When toggled on, the optional feature connected to the

auxiliary port will be activated, and on K2/K3/K/K/K7

model transceivers, the icon will appear on the display.

• Battery Status (BAT)

Press this key to view the battery power status. Battery

status is represented by the number of times the LED

indicator flashes red. Five flashes represents high power,

represents medium power, 3 represents low power, and

2 represents very low power. If the LED flashes red only

time, recharge or replace your battery pack immediately.

When the Low Battery Warning function is active {page 2}

and the battery power is low, this key will not operate.

• Call Response (RES)

Press this key to respond to a private call. When an

Individual Call is received, the Alert tone stops.

• Channel Down (CHt)

Press this key to decrease the channel number {page }.
