9-1 How to control Power on/standby of Projector individually?
By using SCENE MEMORY and PIO port, it’s possible to control projectors (PJ)
Power On/Standby status.
For example, by connecting parallel Output No.1 and Input No.1.
1) To connect the Output No.1 to Input No.1 directly
Parallel I/O connector
2) On RMOTE SCREEN, to select PJ Power on INPUT 1 box, and select RECALL1
on OUTPUT 1 box.
3) REMOTE POWER ENABLE is turned off, and Power On Setting on SCENE SCREEN
is set to LAST MEMORY.
With the setup above, when the power of X700P is turned on, the last used setup is
recalled and projector is not turned on.
By recalling SCENE No.1 with a button of X700P’s front panel, the projector will be
turned to “power on” status.
And then, by recalling SCENE No.2, the projector is switched to “standby” status.
NOTE 1:
Instead of the SCENE MEMORY, if an external switch is used to control the PJ power
via Parallel IO of the X700P, the external switch requires to be a Latch. See next page.
NOTE 2:
The function to switch projector power without using parallel I/O port, is available in
Version 1.30 of the SRP -X700P.
4) SCENE No.2 can be set up with no
functions to be recalled.
