7. Setup procedure of Feedback Reduction
Before setup of the feedback reduction, level and equalization needs to be set
up.
1) Set all input faders on X700P front
panel to minimum,
then turn power on and start Manager GUI
3) Set a microphone in place where the microphone is actually to be used
For example
- With handheld microphone, is it handed around or standing at
specific presentation place.
- In case of lavalier microphone with bodypack transmitter, it is placed
on specific body or standing at specific presentation positio n.
- In the case where the microphone is not fixed, the microphone should
be at a position that usually produces the most feedback.
2) Apply MUTING to every input
and set Fader Mode to ACTIVE
on INPUT SCREEN
(The muting is to avoid feedback when
setting to INACTIVE)
NOTE: The process 2) above is
not needed in version 1.30 since
the Fader Mode is removed from
the V1.30.
