This example is constructed based on the following
assumptions.
- Sound system is used for conferencing and meeting.
- Height of ceiling is about 3-meter.
- Room size is about 15m x 15m.
- Microphones are mainly used at close proximity to a
screen and at the MC table.
- Adequate room acoustics are considered, such as
sound isolation, reverberation time and background
noise level.
Customer benefit of this example.
- Enough sound level is provided for clearer
reproduction in the listening area.
- 6 to 8W 70V ceiling speakers are set to reproduce
uniform microphone sound. Front speakers
reproduce other sources such as DVD, for less
feedback, thus a higher microphone sound level can
be achieved.
- SRP-X700P provides AV/RGB selection, several
processing functions and amplifier thus saving rack
space and extra rack cost.

(1) Front speakers reproduce line sources such as MD, DVD/CD, cassette deck and PC.
SRP-X700P’s input channels of the line sources are assigned to OUTPUT-1&2 which are connected to an external
amplifier to power the front speakers. (Powered speakers can be used instead of the amp and speakers.)
(2) The ceiling speakers provide mic/voice reproduction. An internal 70V amplifier is connected to the ceiling speakers.
In case of 8 W speaker, up to 18 units can be connected because of 150 W amplifier within the X700P.
Every MIC INPUT is assigned to OUTPUT-3 routing to internal amplifier set to 70V, and is not assigned to
OUTPUT-1&2 routing to front speakers.
(3) A DVD is connected to SRP-X700P via Composite signal on this system configuration.
In case the DVD is connected with Component, one of the RGB inputs is applied to the Component.
Up to 2 PCs can be therefore connected in case of DVD connection with the Component.
