(1) A Control box selects a mode either the two rooms or one room operation.
The control box is connected with parallel remote to control scene memories of SRP-X700Ps in both main and
sub systems. In this case the main and sub systems are in dependently operated, audio (voice) signal from the
main system therefore must not be routed to the sub system, and sub speakers of main system are not used.
Setup example;
- A voice signal of microphones is routed from OUTPUT -8 of the SRP -X700P in main system to LINE
INPUT-2 of the X700P in sub system.
- Line sources are routed from OUTPUT-1&2 to an external amplifiers for the front speakers.
An amplifier for satellite speakers is connected to OUTPUT-3&4, but no assignment in this 2-room application.
- SCENE MEMORY-1 for the both of X700Ps is recalled by using a button on the CO NTROL BOX.
- SCENE MEMORY-1 of the main X700P turns ASSIGN to OUTPUT-3, 4&8 off, by recalling via parallel port.
It turns ASSIGN of MIC INPUT -5&6 off in the main X700P.
- SCENE MEMORY-1 of the sub X700P turns ASSIGN of LINE INPUT-2 off, by recalling via parallel port.
(2) The front speakers reproduce line sources such as MD, DVD/CD, cassette deck. The ceiling speakers provide
voice reproduction. The satellite speakers of main system are not used in this 2-room (divided) situation.
(3) On each system above, up to three PC ’s are connected to the switcher of the SRP -X700P, The DVD is
connected with a composite connection. If component connection is required for DVD, the component is via
an RGB connection of the switcher. In the case of component connection, Up to two PC ’s can be connected.
NOTE: Because LINE-2 input of the sub X700P is applied to receive the voice signal from the main system , up
to 5 microphones (both WD and WL) can be used in the sub system.
