Bluetooth
Your device supports Bluetooth
®
2.1 + EDR.
Manage Bluetooth connections, set your device’s name, and
control your device’s visibility to other devices.
Note: Bluetooth must be turned On to access Bluetooth settings.
Bluetooth profiles
Bluetooth profiles are specifications for services supported by
individual devices. Profiles improve the ability of different devices
to work together. Your device supports these Bluetooth profiles:
•
Serial Port: SPP allows a remote Bluetooth device to act as a virtual
serial port.
•
Stereo: A2DP, AVRCP, GAVDP, AVCTP and AVDTP support delivery of
stereo audio to compatible Bluetooth devices.
•
Phonebook Access: PBAP allows sharing of multiple contact name
cards with compatible Bluetooth devices.
•
Object Exchange: OPP allows sending and receiving of contact name
cards (vCard 2.1) and calendar events (vCalendar) between devices.
•
Human Interface Devices: HID supports certain interface devices.
Note: This device does not support all Bluetooth profiles. For vehicle/

Turning Bluetooth On or Off
Turn your device’s Bluetooth service on or off.

Touch Bluetooth to turn Blutooth On or Off. When on, a
check appears in the checkbox.

Touch a setting to configure Bluetooth:
• Bluetooth: Touch to turn Bluetooth On or Off. Bluetooth must be
turned on to access other settings.
• Device Name: Your device’s default name appears on screen.
Touch to change the device name. Available when Bluetooth is On.
• Discoverable: Control your device’s visibility to other devices’
searches. Touch to turn On or Off. Available when Bluetooth is On.
• Discoverable timeout: Set the length of time your device remains
discoverable.
• Show received files: Display a list of files transferred to your device
from other devices via Bluetooth.
• Find nearby devices: Touch to scan for discoverable devices. After
searching, available devices appear here; touch a device to pair
with it. For more information, see “Pairing with a Bluetooth
Device” on page 55.
