Sending Options
When you are sending a new text message, there are options
associated with the new message. These options allow you to
configure the following:

Priority - allows you to set the priority level between
Normal and Urgent.
ⅷ
Validity - allows you to configure the amount of time a
message is good before it can no longer be read by the
recipient. If the message is not read in the time allotted, it is
cancelled.
ⅷ
Send Later - allows you to time delay the sending of a
message using one of the preset time limits.
ⅷ
Delivery Ack - requests that a delivery acknowledgment is
sent upon reading the new message.
ⅷ
Message Save - allows you to configure the Auto-Save, Do
Not Save, or Prompt Save options for the new message.
To read a Text Message:
1. When you receive a text message, you will see “New Text
Message” on your display screen. Select OK.
To reply to a Text Message:
1. While the message is open, select Menu Reply.
2. Compose your reply or use canned messages.

Use your keypad to type a message. Use the right softkey to
select a character input mode.

To use canned messages press for Canned
Msg. Press the corresponding number on the keypad to
enter the canned message response.
