Deleting tape information
When you want to delete the entire tape information
(information for all recorded programs on the tape), follow
the procedure below by using the Remote.
• Tape information for the Video Navigation function is
deleted, but the recorded programs will not be erased.
ATTENTION
Once the information is deleted, it is impossible to
restore that information.

Follow steps 1 to 3 on page 30, then go to
the following steps

Select tape number
Press [ %fi] to select the
tape number for which
you want to edit the
title, then press [OK].
● “
* ” is displayed beside the tape number of the
loaded cassette.
● The cassette mark is displayed on the left of the
tape title. The items without the cassette marks are
the program titles included in the tape.
● To go to another page of the lists, press [<] or [>].

Access delete screen
Press [ @ #] to move the
arrow to “DELETE”,
then press [OK].

Delete tape information
Press [ @ #] to move the
highlight bar to “YES”,
then press [OK].

Return to normal screen
Press [NAVI].

Editing program category
When you want to change the program category, follow
the procedure below by using the Remote.

Load a cassette
Insert a tape on which there is a program you want
to edit.

Access Video Navigation screen
Press [NAVI].

Select program
Press [ %fi] to select the program you want to edit,
then press [OK].

Access edit screen
Press [ @ #] to move the arrow to “EDIT”, then press
[OK].

Access category screen
Press [ %fi@ #] to
move the arrow to
“EDIT CATEGORY”,
then press [OK].

Select category
Press [ %fi@ #] to
select the category
you want, then press
[OK].

Return to normal screen
Press [NAVI].
