Deactivating Video Navigation

If you do not want to store program information, you can
deactivate the Video Navigation function.

Access Video Navigation screen

Press [NAVI].

Access Navigation Set Up screen

Press [

%fi @ #] to move

the arrow to “NAVI. SET
UP”, then press [

fi] or

[OK].

Deactivate Video Navigation

Press [

@ #].

● Each time you press

[

@ #], Video

Navigation turns
“ON” or “OFF”.

Return to normal screen

Press [NAVI].

NOTE:

If you press [NAVI] when a cassette is not loaded, “NO TAPE!”
appears on the TV screen. If the VCR does not recognize the tape
number of the loaded cassette, “UNRECOGNIZED TAPE
NUMBER!” appears on the TV screen.

Navigation screen

1 Tape number and tape title
2 Maximum blank time on the tape
3 [Page No./Total Page No.] (only 4 programs can be

shown at a time)

4 Program title included on a tape
5 The detailed program information currently

selected (date, auxiliary input, category, start time,
end time, recording speed)

6 Operational commands

Blank part*

* “BLANK” appears for non-recorded part, the part whose

information has been deleted manually (
