8.1.12 Automatic Volume

The Magellan RoadMate 6000T can be set to automatically increase the volume when the vehicle exceeds 45 MPH in order
to compensate for road noise.

Select

Automatic Volume

.

Select the number increment by which to increase the volume.

Select

Enable

.

When you have finished, select

Save

.

8.1.13 Backup and Restore

The Magellan RoadMate 6000T has the capability to back up your information (Address Book, Previous Destinations, etc.) to
an optional memory card.

8.1.13.1 Backup

Select

Backup and Restore

then, select

Backup

.

If you do not have a card inserted, you will be prompted to insert a card. Make sure the card is unlocked to allow data to be
copied to it. Insert a card and reselect

Backup

.

A dialog box will appear asking you to confirm your selection. Select

Yes

.

The files are copied to the memory card.

8.1.13.2 Restore

To restore the files to the hard disk, select

Backup and Restore

then, select

Restore

.

If you do not have a card inserted, you will be prompted to insert a card. Insert a card and reselect

Restore

A dialog box will appear asking you to confirm your selection. Select

Yes

The files are copied to the hard disk.
