Basics
External display
When you close your phone, the
external display shows the time
and date, status indicators, and
notifications for incoming calls
and events. For a list of status
indicators, see the previous
section.
Adjust volume
With the flip open, press the
volume keys up or down to:
• turn off an incoming call alert
• adjust the earpiece volume
during calls
• change sound settings
Create contacts
1 Enter a phone number in the home screen.
2 Press
Save

5 Enter a name for the phone number, and enter other

Note: The use of wireless phones while driving may
cause distraction. Discontinue a call if you can’t
concentrate on driving. Additionally, the use of
wireless devices and their accessories may be
prohibited or restricted in certain areas. Always obey
the laws and regulations on the use of these products.
