Language Setup
On Screen Display (OSD) Language
You can select among various languages for
the player’s on-screen display (OSD).
1 Press SETUP.
2 Press 22  / 
to select
“LANGUAGE
SETUP”.
3 Press 33  /  to
select “OSD
LANGUAGE”,
then press  .
4 Press 44  /  to select your preferred
language.
5 Press 55 ENTER.
6 Press SETUP or select “EXIT SETUP” to
exit the menu system.
Audio Language
You can select your preferred language for
DVD audio sound tracks.
1 Press SETUP.
2 Press 22  / 
to select
“LANGUAGE
SETUP”.
3 Press 33  /  to
select “AUDIO
LANG”, then
press  .
4 Press 44  /  to select your preferred
language.
5 Press 55 ENTER.
• If the language selected is not recorded
on the disc, the DVD player will playback
the disc’s default language.
6 Press SETUP or select “EXIT SETUP” to
exit the menu system.
Subtitle Language
You can select your preferred language for
DVD subtitles.
1 Press SETUP.
2 Press 22

to select
“LANGUAGE
SETUP”.
3 Press 33  /  to
select “SUBTITLE
LANG”, then
press  .
4 Press 44  /  to select your preferred
language.
• To turn Subtitles off, select “OFF”.
5 Press 55 ENTER.
• If the selected language is not available
on the disc, the player will select the
disc’s default language.
6 Press SETUP or select “EXIT SETUP” to
exit the menu system.
Disc Menu Language
You can select your preferred language for
DVD disc menus. If your preferred language
is recorded on a DVD, the player will use it for
playback. If the language is not recorded on
a DVD, the player will use the DVD’s default
language.
