Parental Control Password

To set or change the Parental Control

password:

• The factory pre-set password is “0000”.

• The numbers you enter will be shown as

X on the screen.

• The Lock icon will change from closed to

open.

• You are now free to change the Parental

Control rating (see below).

Parental Control Rating

The Parental Control feature enables you

to block playback of movies based on their

ratings. For example, if you set the rating level

to 5, the player will block playback of movies

rated 5, 6, 7 and 8 unless the correct password

is entered. Note: You can only use the Parental

Control feature with rated DVD discs.
