Manual feed timeout
This function sets the waiting time from when the host computer issues a scan command to when
paper is manually put on the hopper. A manual feed timeout error occurs if this time elapses without
putting paper on the hopper.

1 S to 255 S (Default: 30 S)
1. In <> initial screen, press
ENTER

The <> menu screen (Paper
Length Check) appears.
2. Press repeatedly until “Manual Feed
Timeout” appears in the lower line of the
menu screen.
3. Press
ENTER

The option select screen appears with the
current setting 30 S blinking (blinking indi-
cates “changeable”).
4. Press or .
The displayed option changes (1 S to 255 S).
The value changes in seconds.
5. When the desired value appears, press
ENTER
to save the change.
The LCD returns to the <>
menu screen (Manual Feed Timeout).
