Important Information About the SPARC Enterprise T5120 and T5220 Servers

After the control domain recovers, there is a diagnosis performed. Messages to the
console indicate the cause of the unrecoverable error. For example:
At this point, CR 6594506 might have been encountered. This will prevent future
PSH events (for example, new HW errors, correctable or uncorrectable) from being
transported into the domain and properly diagnosed.
Workaround: After the domain recovers and the diagnosis message is printed to the
Solaris console, reset the SP:
Once the SP is restarted and you are able to login as the admin (which means all
daemons are ready), execute the following in the Solaris control domain:
raidctl -h
and Man Page Display Some Unsupported
Features
The SPARC Enterprise T5120 and T5220 servers currently only support RAID 0 and
RAID 1 while using the on board 1068E LSI SAS controller. The raidctl man page
and the raidctl -h options incorrectly display features that might exist on future
products and other SAS controllers. The raidctl utility can be used to create and
delete RAID 0 & RAID 1 volumes.
