3.7 Suppressing Interference
Interference from other acoustic equipment operating nearby or
other electronic equipment may show itself on the display as de-
picted in the figure below.

To suppress interference, do the following:
1) Press the [MENU ESC] key.
2) Press the [6] key to display VIDEO SOUNDER SETUP menu.
3) Press the [▼] or [▲] key to select NOISE LM.
4) Press the [t] or [s] key to select degree of suppression de-
sired; the higher the number the greater the degree of suppres-
sion..
5) Press the [MENU ESC] key.
3.8 Knowing Depth Change by Depth Alert Alarm
The DEPTH ALert function alerts you to change in depth. Depth
change direction is given by alarm interval; the longer the interval
the greater the change in depth.
To turn on or off the depth alert, do the following:
1) Press the [MENU ESC] key.
2) Press [6] key to display VIDEO SOUNDER SETUP menu.
3) Press the [▼] or [▲] key to select DEPTH AL.
4) Press the [t] or [s] to select ON or OFF.
5) Press the [MENU ESC] key.
