Rear Connectors
The rear connectors are located on the back of your display tucked under the back panel. Insert the
cables from your component into these rear connectors. The rear connectors you use depend on the
type of cables you are using with your component. Make sure you insert the audio cables into the
connectors that correspond with the video input.
The rear connectors are divided into three sections
•
Audio Inputs
•
Audio/AV Outputs
•
Video Inputs
Identifying Your Components Cables
Where you connect your component into the TV connectors depends on the type of cables you use to
connect the component. Your TV is compatible with composite, component, S-video, DVI-D, or VGA
cables. Some components, such as some DVD Players have multiple output types (component, S-video
and composite). Use the following chart to determine your cable type:

One cable with three ends:

One yellow for video

One red for audio

One white for audio
Some composite cables come with red
and white audio cables separate.

Insert the yellow cable into the yellow
AV1 or AV2 video input.

Insert the red and white cables into the
red and white AV1 or AV2 audio
inputs.
S-video
One cable with three ends:
•
One cable with 4 pins
•
One red for audio
•
One white for audio
Some S-video cables come with red and
white audio cables separate.
•
Insert the cable into the SV1 or SV2
video input.
•
Insert the red and white cables into the
red and white SV1 or SV2 audio
inputs.
