6. Lift the memory module from the memory socket by pulling the module away from the slot at an
angle (2).
NOTE: Memory modules are designed with a notch (3) to prevent incorrect insertion into the
memory module slot.
7. Store the memory module in antistatic packaging.
To reinstall memory, reverse the removal procedure.
