Computer cannot
find the
connected
camera
The camera is
turned off.
Turn on the camera.
The camera is
not working
correctly.
Connect the camera
directly to a USB-enabled
HP DeskJet or Photosmart
printer and print an
image. This will verify that
the image, memory card,
USB connection, and the
USB cable are functioning
correctly, or not.
The cable is not
connected
correctly.
Make sure that the cable is
firmly connected to the
computer and camera.
The camera is
connected to the
computer
through a USB
hub, and your
USB hub is not
compatible with
the camera.
Connect the camera
directly to a USB port on
the computer.
You are using
the HP Camera
Dock and forgot
to press the
Save/Print
button.
Press the
Save/Print
button
on the dock.
The memory
card is locked.
Unlock the memory card.
The USB
connection
failed.
Reboot the computer.
