Format

Specifies the data format of the attribute. The possible values are:

Binary. The attribute contains binary data.

ASCII. Attributes contain only graphic codes (code values 20h–7Eh) and must be

left-aligned.

Text. The attribute contains textual data. The character set is as described in the

Text Localization Identifier attribute in

“Host Common Attributes” on

page 107

.

Attribute Length

The length in bytes of the Attribute Value field.
