STATUS CHECK Checks the settings in your camcorder (p. 69).
CAMERA PROFILE MEMORY CARD A,
MEMORY CARD B Loads, saves, and deletes camera profiles.
• A camera profile saves configuration settings,
such as menu, picture profile, and button
settings. Up to 99 profiles can be saved on a
memory card.
• Camera profiles for when [50i] is selected and
when [60i] is selected are not compatible.
• You cannot use a computer to edit saved
settings.
• The file may not be shown properly if the file
name is changed on the computer, or the
power turned off during generation.
• A camera profile saved on a camcorder with
different model name, or edited on a computer
cannot be loaded.
Formatting the memory card also deletes
saved camera profiles.
ASSIGN BUTTON ASSIGN1, ASSIGN2,
ASSIGN3, ASSIGN4,
ASSIGN5, ASSIGN6 Assigns functions to the ASSIGN buttons
(p. 62).
CLOCK SET Sets the date and time (p. 23).
AREA SET Sets the time difference for when using the
camcorder abroad.
You can adjust the time difference without
stopping the clock.
SUMMERTIME OFF , ON Sets whether to use summer time. When set to
[ON], the time moves forward 1 hour.
LANGUAGE Sets the display language.
DATE REC OFF , ON Sets whether to record the date and time on the
recorded images.
• You can set this item only when the interlace
scanning system is selected.
• When zebra or peaking is activated, the date
and time characters are affected by the signal,
but are properly recorded on images.
BEEP OFF , ON Sets whether to emit a sound when you start/
stop recording or when a warning appears, etc.
REC LAMP ON , OFF Sets whether to turn on the recording lamp of
the camcorder when recording.
REMOTE CONTROL ON , OFF Sets whether to use the infrared Wireless
Remote Commander (p. 16).
