Complete the setting.
● Press the [ ] button. A confirmation
message is displayed.
● Press the [ ][ ] buttons to choose [OK],
and then press the [ ] button.
● Ratings are not applied if you switch to Shooting mode or turn the
camera off before finishing the setup process in step 3.
● You can also rate images by touching [ ][ ] on the bottom of
the screen in step 2.
Rating Images (Rating)
Still Images Movies
Organize images by rating them on a scale of 1 – 5 ([ ], [ ], [ ], [ ],
[ ], or [ ]). By viewing only images with a specified rating, you can
restrict the following operations to all images with that rating.
● “Viewing” (= 91), “Viewing Slideshows” (= 99), “Protecting
Images” (= 99), “Erasing Images” (= 102), “Adding Images to
the Print List (DPOF)” (= 158), “Adding Images to a Photobook”
(= 160)
● Press the [ ] button, choose [ ] in the
menu, and then rate the image (= 31).
● To remove ratings, repeat this process
but choose [ ], and then press the [ ]
button.
Using the Menu

Choose [Rating].
● Press the [ ] button and choose
[Rating] on the [ 1] tab (= 32).

Choose an image and rate it.
● Press the [ ][ ] buttons to choose an
image, and then press the [ ][ ] buttons
to choose a rating.
