To see a particular attribute, use the GET function. In this example,
let us get the “inquiry string” which is attribute # 8 in the physical
drive table, for a device in adapter 1, channel 1,target 6, LUN 0. Use
the following command line:
snmputil get host_ip_address public .1.3.6.1.4.1.3582.1.1.3.1.8.1.1.6.0
Here, the last four values are the keys to the device, namely adapter,
channel, physical id and the Lun.

In the same way, we can SET an attribute to an entity.
Always refer the MIB file to get the correct keys and the index of the
attributes. It also specifies each object type, whether integer or octet
string and the description of the attributes. It also tells if an attribute is a
READ-ONLY or a READ-WRITE object. An attribute can be SET to
allowable values if it is a READ-WRITE object.
