Setting the Password (Security) Options
The SETUP program lets you enter, change, or disable an
optional password to control who can access your system. The
following table lists the available options.

System Access You want to set a password to use the system
(computer), including the SETUP program

If you select
Setup Access,
you’ll see the password prompt
only when you use the SETUP program. If you select System
Access, you’ll see the password prompt both for the SETUP
program and whenever the computer boots (loads the
operating system).
Follow these steps to enter a password:
1. Move your cursor to the Security option.
2. Use or to select either
Setup Access
or
System Access. The menu at the bottom of the screen
now contains the following prompt:
to Set/Change Password
3. Press
4. You’ll see the following prompt in a window at the center of
the screen:
