Locking and unlocking files

You can lock files to prevent them from accidentally
being modified or erased. To lock or unlock files,
follow the steps below.

Note:
Locking or unlocking a photo that has an audio recording
also locks or unlocks the recording.

1.

Select an image or images in the right pane of the
main window.

2.

Select Lock from the Image menu to lock the
images. Select Unlock to unlock them.

Changing file or folder names

To change the name of a file, follow the steps below.

Note:

You cannot change the names of drives using EPSON
Photo!4.

When you change the name of a photo file that has an
associated audio file, the name of the associated audio
file also changes to the same name.

1.

Select the file or folder whose name you want to
change.

2.

From the File menu, select Rename. The Rename
dialog box appears.

3.

Type a new file or folder name, then click the OK
button.

Deleting files

To delete one or more files, follow the steps below.

1.

Select an image or images in the right pane of the
main window.

2.

From the File menu, select Delete. A message
appears asking you to confirm the deletion.

3.

Click Yes to delete the selected images; click No
to cancel the operation.

Moving and copying files

You can use the drag-and-drop method to move or
copy files by dragging the image in the right pane to
a folder in the left pane.
