Scanning does not start by pressing the Start button.
❏ For Windows 95, NT 4.0, and Macintosh users, make sure the
Scanner Monitor software is running.
❏ For Windows Millennium Edition, 98, and 2000 users, click
the Events tab in your scanner’s Properties dialog box and
make sure the Disable device events check box is clear. Also
make sure that the Start Button is selected as the Scanner
events option, and that at least one application in the Send to
this application box is selected. See “Setting Up the Start
Button” on page 3-1 for details.
EPSON TWAIN Pro does not start.
❏ Turn off the scanner and computer and check that they are
connected properly.
❏ Make sure the interface cable meets the requirements of your
interface board. See the documentation that came with the
interface board.
❏ Make sure the interface board is installed correctly.
❏ When connected using the SCSI interface, make sure to turn
on the scanner before turning on the computer.
❏ Make sure that EPSON TWAIN Pro is selected in your
application.
EPSON Scan Server does not start.
❏ Turn off the scanner and computer, and check that they are
connected properly.
❏ Make sure the interface cable meets the requirements of your
interface board. See the documentation that came with the
interface board.
❏ Make sure the interface board is installed correctly.
