Do not use cleaners or solvents. These could
damage the equipment beyond repair.
Storage
The upper blower tube (2) may be removed from
the motor housing (A4) for storage. To do so,
press the locking button (A3) and slide the upper
blower tube (2) forward and off.
Store the equipment in a dry location, protected
from use and out of the range of children.
Remove the rechargeable battery from the
equipment before storing for extended periods
(e.g. over winter).
Only store the battery partly charged. When
storing for extended periods, the charge should
be 40-60%.
When storing for extended periods, check the
battery charge about every 4-6 months and
recharge if necessary.
Store the rechargeable battery at 10 o C to 25 o C.
Avoid extreme cold or heat during storage to
ensure the rechargeable battery does not lose
power.
Disposal /
environmental protection
Remove the rechargeable battery from the
equipment and dispose of the equipment,
rechargeable battery, accessories and packaging
through environmentally-friendly recycling.
Electrical equipment does not
belong in household rubbish.
Li-Ion
Do not throw the battery into house-
hold rubbish, fire (explosion hazard) or
into water. Damaged batteries can be
harmful to the environment and your
health if toxic vapours or fluids leak.

Return the equipment and the charger to a
recycling centre. The plastic and metal parts
used can be separated by single origin for
recycling. Please contact our service centre
for this purpose.

Dispose of batteries in a drained state. We
recommend covering the poles with adhe-
sive tape to prevent short circuits. Do not
open the rechargeable battery.

Dispose rechargeable batteries in accordance
with local regulations. Return rechargeable
batteries to a battery collection site, where
they can be recycled in an environmentally
friendly manner. Please contact your local
waste disposal or our service centre.
