In addition, connection of a MEMOBUS master device to the serial port of the MP2000 series PCLINK-01 module
and MEMOBUS message communication via the PCLINK network are possible. The PCLINK–01 reception side has a
MEMOBUS message reception function. (When a MEMOBUS message is received via the serial port, CH5 is used by
the MSG-RCV function.) The controller on the transmission side does not need a ladder protocol. The MEMOBUS
messages received from the serial port will be automatically determined to be either received by the local CPU module
or transmitted on the PCLINK network according to the station address of the MEMOBUS protocol.

In PCLINK transmission, the transmission target can be designated by the group number in addition to the station
number in the message transmission target. In group number designation, it is possible to multicast messages to
stations with the same group number. However, the available messages are limited to the write series.
