The two data channels can be individually configured to use any of the supported formats,
by using the appropriate Format Select pin (7 or 10):
• Floating for RS-422 or TTL
• Tied to GND (pin 5) for RS-232
• Tied to +12 VDC bias (pin 15) for RS-485
