This symbol indicates that the Media Server is no longer connected to a
channel. Check the following possible problems; you cannot remotely control
the Media Server while this symbol is present:
• There is no physical serial cable connection between NewsQ Pro and the
Media Server used for playout.
• COM ports are set incorrectly in the NewsQ Pro Channel Configuration; see
“Setting Channel Configuration” on page 93.
• Playout channels on the Media Server are not set to use remote protocol.
