Linking Sequences to NewsQ Pro Placeholders
The Assignment List Manager displays the placeholders that need sequences to
complete a news story. As you create a new sequence in NewsEdit, you can link
it to a NewsQ Pro placeholder. Linking your NewsEdit sequence to a
placeholder lets others in the newsroom know that a sequence is being edited.
To link to a NewsQ Pro placeholder:
1. In NewsEdit, click the New Sequence button in the Bin toolbar.
The Sequence Properties window appears:
You can also use an existing sequence—open the sequence in NewsEdit, and
click the
Story View button in the main toolbar.
2. Click the arrow next to Link To Story and select NewsQ Pro.
