Playing Clips to Air
Once NewsQ is configured to use automation, you use the automation system
to control playout to air. See your external automation system documentation
for instructions.
While NewsQ is under automation control, you have access to the Playback
Channel settings and the Bin. NewsQ buttons that control cueing and playback
are disabled, as these functions are performed through the automation system.
To switch from automation control back to manual playback, choose
Settings | Automation | Protocol and select None from the drop-down list.
