Cueing and Playing Clips to Air
You use the playlist to control the playout of clips to air. During a news
broadcast, you air the clips according to a script or when the director signals
you.
Playing clips to air with NewsQ involves these basic steps:
1. Cue the clip in the playlist.
2. Play the clip to air.
3. Repeat steps 1 and 2 for each clip during the broadcast.
There are several ways to cue and play clips, depending on the setup of your
playlist and your broadcast requirements.
